Batting Cages

Have that "Oh, no, not the opera again tonight" feeling? Why not treat your inner ball player to a swing or six inside a batting cage. Not to worry if your date played triple-A ball in Des Moines, most places have different levels of batting cages. It's no problem starting with slow pitch softball. You can let the slugger you're dating go at it in the pro cage. You can also show him or her what you're a pro at later in the evening.

The price includes the bat and a helmet. You can pay for a set number of pitches or rent the cage by the half hour. Be sure to check the prices ahead of time, as hourly rates can get a little pricey.
